This 1927 home, set in Ann Arbor’s historic Ives Woods neighborhood, was reimagined in collaboration with Angelini & Associates for a young family of five returning from New York City. Ramsay Nye guided the renovation and addition, shaping interiors that honor the home’s character while introducing warmth, vibrancy, and modern livability. With three children and a French bulldog in tow, the clients wanted a house that was both resilient and refined. Their collection of notable artwork inspired the design direction, with new pieces and vintage finds layered in to enrich the story. The result is a home infused with color, pattern, and texture - a deeply personal retreat that reflects the family’s love of art, design, and gathering together.
