Tucked into historic downtown Watkinsville, Georgia, this spot was created for a fearless duo—a professionally trained chef and his powerhouse wife, both icons in the Athens restaurant scene—to be loud, proud, and unapologetically fun. Ramsay Nye’s assignment was to design a glittertastic wonderland swathed in pink and disco balls, that also serves BBQ and tofu sandwiches—so they went whole hog on color, character, and quirk. The space is packed with playful vignettes, custom murals and bold artwork by local creatives, including a bespoke wallpaper collaboration with Athens-based artist Michele Dross. The bar and shelving displays are curated shrines to the quirky and the weird, filled with oddball treasures and found objects that feel like they came from a fabulous thrift store fever dream. Secret-button disco ball dance party moments in the restroom—yes, people actually line up for it, phones in hand, ready for the next viral IG Reel. With a nod to their clients’ love of Palm Springs, '70s-inspired sunshine vibes were layered throughout—from the custom banquettes to the psychedelic wall murals. A gold glitter epoxy floor shimmers like a disco ball underfoot.
