  • An equestrian family desired a highly creative update to their log cabin-style home on the west coast of Florida in the Goethe Forest. Ramsay Nye focused on imaginative custom additions, balancing the heavy wood elements with a distinctive color story and unique finishes to craft a deeply personalized home. The living room—with its soaring vaulted ceilings—was transformed by incorporating custom-made furnishings, lighting, and drapery along with a stunning plaid patterned tile fireplace. The dining room features a bespoke table and ceramic tile pictorial mural inspired by a vintage wall tapestry, and is also a nod to the Goethe Forest that surrounds the home.
